FETISHES

A Fetish is when a person is sexually aroused by a specific situation or object.

Behavioral situations that can become objects of arousal include a woman smoking or watching another person urinate. Objects include clothing, rubber, footwear, body parts, leather or soft materials and fabrics, such as lace. Most people don’t realize that fetishes can also have a generational element to them.  For instance, during the Madonna craze, it was the cone bra. Before that, it was panty girdles and rubber swim caps.

Fetishes can vary by culture as well.  A 2009 study showed the number one fetish for men in Japan is the skin between knee socks and skirt.  In America, the top male fetish is generally considered to be the female foot.
